A brief update and some brownies

So.... My attempt to be more active at writing here kind of failed miserably. But I just love procrastinating so much. :'(

I've been really busy with school, since it's been the end of the last semester. But the suffering was totally worth of the seven 10s (same as A) that I'm going to get in my report card.

I can't really say much about the last two or so weeks, I have a really bad memory.
Mainly I've been hanging out with my friends when I have time, visited my step moms summerhouse (I love it there), and studied.

Here's a couple of cellphone qulity pictures of what I've been up to.

We went out to have a picnic, because a good friend of mine had her 16-year-old birthday.
We bought a "little" something to eat.

A bow-tie made with Isas instructions from her last post.

As for today I have baked some DELICIOUS brownies for my group in art-school. Sadly tomorrow is our last class together. We always have so much fun. I'm going to miss you all!
I too my recipe from a baking video by two YouTube vloggers: AmazingPhil and danisnotonfire. You should check out both of their channels!

I used exactly the same recipe, but for the little chunks I used some white chocolate. The picture doesn't do justice for the om-nom-nomness of these brownies, but they still look really good.

I will TRY to post something this week, but I'm surprisingly enough rather busy. At Wednesday us ninth-graders have these dances we need to perform and I'm SO stressed out! I will do a post about it later on this week.
On Thursday we're having a field-trip into this amusement park called Linnanmäki. I'll try to remember to take some pictures while having fun.

That's it for this post, I promise the next one will be more interesting! For now, here's a couple of songs that I have listened to today:

DIY Bow tie

I have wanted to do bow tie, for a while, and i thought that i could do a post about it, when I'm doing it.
I tried fin some patterns for my bow tie but i didn't find anything, what i would wanted, and I just felt too lazy to tug my sewing machine from my cabinet, so I chosed the easy way, use the hot glue pistol. So this is just something what I adapted on my own. It was super easy, and quick to do.

What you need:
Hot glue pistol, cisars, pen, tracing paper (normal paper will work as well), fabrick, and also rurel, and pins.

Patterrns:
You can skip this part if you want, but if you are going to do more than this one, it's just easyer to do it.
I wanted to do the ordinary bow tie size, but you can edit it as you want. My patterrn was 10x9cm so it was littele bit over 2x how big i wanted my bow to be.

Start the glueing:
After you have cutted the fabrick accoarding the pattern, glue the both edges to the middele on the longitudinal direction. .

Then glue both open heads together.
And you get something like this. Now think how wide strap you want to it, and cut littele bit over 2x of it (mine was 3cm).  Glue the both edges to the middle.
When you are adding that you can put between that an safety pin, pin or what ever you want.

And there you go!

I hope you find this post helpful, and easy to understand.

Sunny day

I have noticed tath how i react to things affects so much more my day than I have ever thought. We all have those days when no matter how positive you are, anything just doesn't work. There is still so mutch what you can change yourself whit your attitude.
Since I desided at the new year (pretty corny :D) that I'll try to think more positive from then on, it really feels like I haven't had to deal with so mutch bad things, or stress than last year (Even though I still stress a way too mutch.) So mutch have just depended of myself. Is important to remember that there is always space for more than a one feeling, but if you keep bringing the good things to your mind more than bad, you'll see the difference.

I still say that today's school seption werent that well, I got to know that my domestic science number will drop a number because I forgot to return on cope. And thats is so good new because I'm going to baker/confectioner industry. Meanwhile I wrote that previous clause i just remembered that I was meaning to fill that copy today, and ask can I return it tomorrow, yeay...

Well apparently I didn't do what i was suppose to...  I spended the rest of the day whit friend of mine. Because the weather were so good, and the sun was for change shining again, we dicided to go drink coffee, and eat the icecream in outdoors. I can't say why or is it just me but it feels alvays that summer isn't really coming until I have ate my first ice cream in outdoors. (I hope that it didn't sound too weird :D)

How to do : pinecone flowers

First of all, sorry for not posting in ages again. I've been really busy with schoolwork lately, so my free-time consists solely on stress and sleep.

But anyways, I had a little break the other day, so I decided to do some crafting.
I had these pinkish wooden chips and some pine cones. Since there aren't any flowers yet, even tough its mid-spring, I wanted to make some for myself.

What you need:

- just some basic glue (superglue would be better)
- a couple of pine cones
- wooden chips

Step one:

You simply star gluing the wooden chips on the small juts of the pine cone. Work from the bottom and towards the tip. CAREFUL, THE WOODEN CHIPS ARE REALLY FRAGILE.

After you're done with applying one layer/round of the wooden chips, take a small break to let the glue set. Or why not start another one?

Step two:

Just keep layering the wooden chips one round at a time. Be patient while letting the glue dry, and while applying the wooden chips. I broke at least a dozen of them!

Step three :

Now you just need to apply the top petals. Try to hide the pine cone fully.
And you're done!

Version two:

There's a lot of different types of "flowers" you can do with these. I tried to do a different one by applying the bottom petals pointing down.

Ignore my glamorous nails

After doing the bottom/bottom two layers like this, you need to continue just like you did with the first flower: petals facing upwards.

Finish the flower like you finished the first one, then you're done!

The second one I did kind of failed... Well, it still looks kind of nice.
I don't really know what to do with these. I guess I could make more of them and put together some kind of an ornament? Or maybe just give them to my grandma?
They're really light so you could use them for example in a Halloween costume. :)

On the last post I did, I mentioned that Isa and I baked something. We're gonna do a post about it sooner or later, we're just both really busy right now. It's the last couple of months in secondary school, so we have a lot of work on our hands.
Thank God that it's weekend, I can finally rest. Even though I still have a lot homework to be done...

Review of the play

The play was incredible. I mean it was so, so good.
When you first hear the name "Käärmeen valtakunta - vampyyrin tarina" (The kingdom of the snake - a vampires story) you instantly go : Ugh, twilight... inside of your head. But this had nothing to do with that glitterfilled-syrupy-lovestory, it was actually quite dark to be honest. Really deep, so to say.

The theater was kind of small, but the intimate mood really suited the thriller/horror story. The special effects weren't all that impressive, but then again, it was a small budget play. The music was also really good.

The story mainly took place at a tavern in old New-Orleans. It told the cruel story of a young man named Jean Mumford (Juha Meriläinen). I won't tell you any more, because I personally hate spoilers. BUT I'll tell you that the name would be so much better as "The kingdom of the snake - the story of an innocent murderer".

Juha Meriläinen did so well as the main character. All of his facial expressions and movements were so detailed and precise, yet still very lively. The other actors were also good.

I got my mom to take a picture of my outfit, but it's cell phone-quality again... Well, it's good enough.
Pleasantly it was warm enough to wear my new shorts! You can't really see them in the picture, but still. :)

Coat : Only
Scarf : a souvenir from India
Knit : Esprit
Shorts : Bikbok
Stockings : I have no idea what so ever
Shoes : H&M

Tomorrow I'm gonna hang out with Isa, and we're going to bake a little surprise.... ;)

How I spent the very last of my money

My week has been absolutely brutal to say the least, so it was good to go shopping and get my mind off of things. And the money out of my wallet....

So Isa, our mutual friend Minttu and I decided to go shopping this friday! Also Minttus little sister came along. We went to a place called Jumbo-shopping center. And of course I forgot to take pictures. :')

We didn't buy a lot things, but we had loads of fun! We spent at least four hours roaming trough the various shops. At one point we ate HUGE baguettes! Mine was filled with tuna, the taste was quite good.

Besides the baguette, I only bought two things; highwaisted shorts and new shoes. (I really needed new ones. My only non-broken shoes were rubber boots and high-heels...)

Side note: I love that clothe-hanger

SHORTS : Bikbok, 19.95€

These adorable SHOES: H&M, 14.95€

Today has been a lazy day of just listening to music and resting so far, but later tonight I'm going to the  theater with my mom! :) I feel so rich when I say that....and I like it.
The show is called : The kingdom of a snake - a vampires story (freely translated), and my mom really wanted to see it, so I decided to tag along.

It's still a little cold outside, but I think I could wear my new shorts tonight with two pairs of stockings. We'll see.

If I can get my mom to take pictures of me, I will do a "outfit of the day"-post later.

And also, we broke 100 visits!!! YAY! But we only have one reader...? Join in as a reader and make my day!

So I have been most of time just by my self (excluding couple of days), and just relaxed. I have read the host, and it was amazing, I don't want to spoil it from anyone, so I'm only gonna say that I really loved it. (And maybe cried a littele bit while reading it ;)

Today I wore a littele bit of diifferend uotfit that i normally do, because i don't own almost any flared throuses.

I have bought these clothes some time ago, and i have forgot these, but today i felt like i wanted to wear these again.
Throuses: H&M
Top: flea market
Scarf: H&M

This how my makeup looked today, and I have to inforgonly say that I can be sometimes pretty lazy what comes to dressing up. :D

(my face looks so dark to compared to my hand, but I swear tath it's just because exposure.)
And my jewelry.
Earings: Accessorices
Ring: Glitter
